We strictly follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization

Our main priority is the well-being and safety of our guests and employees and in that sense we strictly follow the recommendations of the World Health Organization, the local health authorities and Tourism of Portugal.

Hotel Quinta das Lágrimas is certified with the “Clean & Safe” seal. We want to ensure that we offer a safe and peaceful environment, ensuring that we are prepared to deal with current circumstances.

  • The spaces have been adapted, including limited spaces;
  • Cleanliness and ventilation of the rooms, spaces and common areas of the hotel;
  • Continuous hygiene in contact areas (surfaces and objects);
  • Disinfectants available at various points in the hotel and the possibility to purchase protective material and equipment;
  • Personalized service at check-in;
  • Scheduling time for cleaning the room;
  • Diverse gastronomic offer with strict safety standards (meals served at the table, in the room and take away);
  • The measures extend to the Hotel's “back of house” operations and employees follow an internal hygiene and safety protocol. The temperature is checked daily before starting work.

 

Check in / Check Out

  • We will ask you whenever possible for your identification and other data before your arrival, your check-in process will be quicker and will avoid waiting times and possible crowds of customers at the Reception.
  • Personalized service, only one client / couple per receptionist.
  • Contact areas for guests and employees are disinfected every 30 min.
  • At check in and check out, the identification documents and payment documents will be disinfected.
  • Accompaniment to the room of all customers, if desired.
  • Luggage handling will be carried out by our porters who will disinfect your luggage before and after handling
  • Vallet Parking service is performed by a Voiturier that disinfects before contacting the vehicle and after handling it.

 

Housekeeping

  • “Do not enter my room policy” - We offer the possibility that the access to your room can be exclusive to you during your stay. All of our services will be at your disposal, however our employees will not enter your room under any circumstances unless it is your wish. Room-service, deliveries in the room of amenities or clothes, delivery of luggage and other services will be taken and executed at the door of your room.
  • Scheduling time for cleaning the room or turndown service.
  • Rooms and common areas are ventilated daily.
  • More frequent cleaning of surfaces and most used equipment’s such as TV controls, door handles, handles, handrails, switches, taps, minibars, dryers, Nespresso machines and others.
  • Cleaning of bedroom surfaces will always be wet with cleaning cloths for single use, different and exclusive for the bedroom area and for the bathrooms.

 

Housekeeping 

  • Increased frequency of cleaning (touch surfaces, cleaned at least 6 times a day; floors cleaned 2 times a day, sanitary facilities 3 times a day).
  • Disinfectant gel dispensers at the various points of entry and exit, different floors, outlets and common spaces.

 

Restaurants /Bar

  • Guest received at the door and accompanied to the table.
  • The gastronomic offer with new safety standards.
  • Explanation of the type of service that we are performing in that outlet in order to guarantee the customer's safety.
  • Capacity of restaurants reduced according to DGS spacing rules.
  • All à la carte meal services including breakfast.
  • Breakfast - will be served until 11 am, if the occupancy rates justify, will be considered a prior reservation.

 

SPA

  • Relaxation area, sauna, Jacuzzi and Turkish bath - Closed on the recommendation of the DGS, awaiting further recommendations.
  • Treatment Pools - Closed for security reasons.
  • Personalized service, only one client / couple per receptionist.
  • Massages - Go to previous appointment - Confirmation by SMS or E-mail.
  • Dress code from the bedroom to minimize the use of changing rooms.
  • Request to check body temperature before starting treatment.

Fitness room

  • Capacity’s limitation according to DGS spacing rules. Reservation mandatory.
  • Products for disinfecting always at the disposal equipment before / after its personal use.

Outdoor Pool

  • Capacity according to DGS spacing rules.
  • Permanent supervision of an employee who ensures compliance with the rules.
  • Additional monitoring system for water quality levels with systematic analysis.
